Seattle in Progress is developed by Ethan Phelps-Goodman, who is motivated by his belief that technologists need to play a more conscious role in shaping the cities in which they live.
Data on project locations and descriptions comes from the City's land use permits database, available at data.seattle.gov. Design proposals are created by the developer of each project and published by Seattle's Department of Planning and Development.
